A Vessel for the Lineage
After years of using basket weaving as the central healing metaphor in The Mother Ache, I finally wove a pine-needle basket with my own hands. The knowledge traveled from the land, through a circle of women, and into a vessel for the lineage.
Returning to the Navel Center
One of my primary practices is to work and move from my navel center. Through breath, nourishment, movement, and attention, I return to the place where courage, intuition, and intention can take root.
The Ache Beneath the Pattern
Many women first recognize the mother wound through adaptive patterns woven into adult life. When we meet these patterns with curiosity and honor the intelligence that once kept us safe, we begin to restore our capacity for self-trust.
Jungle Time with the Archetypes
During retreat in the Amazon rainforest, the feminine archetypes of The Mother Ache became my teaching companions, revealing what needed my attention and compassion. Each return to the weave strengthens the healing basket we are creating with our lives.
