Join Samir and Arani for an immersive meditation retreat in the mountains above Boulder, Colorado. This is an invitation to find your way back “home” to yourself through meditation, self inquiry and medicine. This weekend will be a deep dive into exploring and experiencing the relationship between mind and no mind through Atisha’s 7 points of mind training.
Meditation is not what you think.
We will gather Friday afternoon and jump right in with a meditation followed by dinner and our first inquiry process. Saturday and Sunday will be full days and we will experience many different meditation techniques and methods of self exploration. Monday our time together will culminate with a sacred cacao ceremony and dance celebration. The program is designed as an invitation for all of us to experience self-understanding, awareness, and healing.
We will weave the teachings of Atisha, known as the 7 Points of Mind Training throughout our time together through Osho’s discourses from The Book Of Wisdom. Atisha, known as the Thrice Great (meditation, compassion, action) brought Buddhism to Tibet and his teachings are as direct, timeless, and helpful today as they were then.
“These seven points, the smallest treatise you can find, are of immense value. You will have to meditate over each statement. They are the whole religion condensed: you will have to unfold each statement. They are like seeds, they contain much. It may not be apparently so, but when you contemplate and meditate and start experimenting with them, you will be surprised—you will be going into the greatest adventure of your life.” —Osho
